LOTTO

Lotto numbers for week commencing 27th March were 3, 14, 18, 22. One person matched three numbers: Padraig O'Neill won £100. This weeks Jackpot is £2900.

MINORS

The minors defeated Clonoe at home on Wednesday night last on a final scoreline of Rock 1.11 Clonoe 0.11. This was another good performance from the boys, and hopefully they can keep this momentum going in their remaining games. A speedy recovery is wished to Shea Daly who suffered concussion during that game. On Sunday night the minors defeated Coalisland at home following another great battling performance. Final score was Rock 5.10 Coalisland 3.13. Next fixtures are at home to Moy on Wednesday 5th April @ 6.45pm and then away to Clonoe on Wednesday 12th April @ 7pm.

U14'S

The U14's were at home to Donaghmore on Thursday night last and despite a brilliant and much improved performance the boys were unfortunate to finish second best on a final scoreline of Rock 3.7 Donaghmore 6.2. The boys next games are away to Aghaloo on Saturday 8th April @ 1pm and then away to Derrylaughan on Tuesday 11th April @ 7pm.

U8'S/U6'S

We had 32 kids turned out at MUSA last Saturday morning for U8 & U6 training. It's great to see such large turnouts for the club at this level and hopefully if this keeps up the future is certainly bright for the club. ACL DIVISION 2 Rock are due to play Eglish at home in our opening ACL Division 2 fixture. Date & time to be confirmed. Adrian Nugent & Adrian Corrigan will form our senior management for this year. Many thanks to Eunan McGinn who has stood down from last years management team.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

Rock St Patricks would like to invite everyone in our community to a public meeting at Sacred Heart Primary School on Monday 10th April at 7.15pm. Insight Solutions have completed the feasibility study for the Rock Area Social Hub, and the response was overwhelming. We would like to share this with everyone and discuss the possible financing options that are available for this hugely ambitious project. We hope to see you all there. Let's get it together. One club. One community. Stronger together.

CONCUSSION AWARENESS PRESENTATION

We had a great turnout at our concussion awareness presentation last Wednesday night. The club would like to thank Shelly O'Connor for carrying out the presentation.

SUPPORTING THE COACHES

Thanks to Mid Ulster Council for helping with our recent Supporting the Coaches project. The funding helped coaches in our club gain Foundation and Award one qualifications in coaching.

BILLBOARDS

The Billboards around the pitch are up for renewal. Anyone wishing to renew or purchase a new Billboard should contact Cathal Cush.

ROCK COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION

Rock Community Asociation are performing "A Wake In The West" in Rock Parochial Hall on Friday 7th & Saturday 8th April. The Rock GFC Scór musicians will be performing during the interval on both nights. Tickets are available from McLernons Shop, any cast member or committee member of RCA..

COMMITTEE MEETING

Committee meeting this Wednesday night @ 8.30pm. Oonagh Mackle and Oonagh Mallon have now joined our committee as the Rock Ladies GFC representatives.

SYMPATHY

Rock St.Patricks would like to express our condolences to Cookstown Fr. Rocks and the Cullen family on the recent death of Una, wife of the late Paddy Cullen who was a valued and highly respected teacher in the Rock & Slatequarry community for many years. May she Rest In Peace. Deepest sympathy is also expressed to the Cush family circle on the death of Vera, mother of committee member Cathal, past player Peter, past chairman Anthony, former committee member Cyril, son Denis and grandmother of former secretary Eamonn.
