LOTTO

Lotto numbers for week commencing 3rd April were 13, 17, 22, 23. One person matched three numbers, Anne Rocks won £100. This weeks Jackpot is £2950.

ACL DIVISION 2

Rock hosted Eglish in our opening ACL Division 2 game of the year on Sunday. Unfortunately the visitors left with both points as they ran out winners on a final scoreline of Rock 0.10 Eglish 1.13. The Reserves lost heavily to Eglish on a final scoreline of Rock 1.5 Eglish 5.14. Many thanks to Rachael Bradley and Namh Lagan who helped sell Lotto at Sundays match.

TEAM MANAGEMENT

Reamonn Gourley has been appointed as our Reserve team manager for the coming year.

MINORS

The minors continued with their winning ways at home to Moy on Wednesday night last. A strong strong second half performance swept Moy aside as Rock ran out comfortable winners on a final scoreline of Rock 2.20 Moy 1.10. Next fixtures are away to Clonoe on Wednesday 12th April @ 7pm and then at home to Cookstown on Wednesday 19th April @ 7.15pm.

U14'S

Our U14's got their first win of the season away to Aghaloo on Saturday last. A strong performance from the boys in a game where they just refused to be beaten saw Rock finish with a three point win on a final scoreline of Aghaloo 8.12 Rock10.9 .Rock team was:Senan Devlin; Darragh Nugent Matthew Devlin James Nugent ;Danny McCloskey Martin Ward Paul McAweaney;Thomas Neville Stephen Owens;Corey McElduff Odhran Nugent Eoin Hughes; Jake Lagan Faolan Devlin Aidan Carroll. Subs: Brannon Daly Tiernan Reid Jamie Reid.. Next games are away to Derrylaughan on Tuesday 11th April @ 7pm, at home to Naomh Pádraig on Saturday 15th April @ 11am and away to Brackaville on Saturday 22nd April @ 1pm.

U12'S

U12 training commences at the field on Monday night from 6.30-7.30pm.

U10'S

U10 training continues at the field on Friday night from 6.30-7.30pm.

U8'S/U6'S

Large numbers continue to turn out for U8 & U6 training. There is due to be a blitz this Saturday. Details of that are to be confirmed. Well done to all the U8's and U6's who took part in the half time mini game during the half time break in Sundays senior game. Thanks to Seamie Donaghy for organising it and thanks also to all the parents who helped out.

Rock Community Associations

Our Scór na nÓg musicians opened the show on Friday and Saturday night last for Rock Community Associations performance of 'A Wake In The West' in Rock Parochial Hall. Well done to our musicians and also the actors who put on a great performance. A huge thank you to Rock Community Association for inviting the clubs musicians and congratulations on what was a brilliant and very enjoyable performance.

The Billboards around the pitch are up for renewal. Anyone wishing to renew or purchase a new Billboard should contact Cathal Cush.

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations from Rock St. Patricks to Cara McGeehan who was placed 13th in the World Championships in Dublin on Sunday last... a real Star and a credit to The Carroll School of Irish Dancing. You have done the community proud....well done Cara.
