ACL DIVISION2
Rock were at home to Dungannon on Saturday last in the ACL Division 2. Despite a solid performance, we were unfortunate to lose by the minimum margin. This was a game that Rock could have won and deserved at very least a share of the points. Final score Rock 0.10 Dungannon 1.8. The reserves lost out on a final scoreline of Rock 2.10 Dungannon 6.10. Next fixture is due to be at home to Stewartstown on Sunday 25th June, reserves @ 2.15pm and seniors @ 3.45pm. Well done to Leah Quinn who sang Amhran na bhFiann prior to the senior game and thanks to Rachael and Niamh, our two Lotto sellers.
RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIP
The Reserve Championship first round is on Saturday 17th June with Rock at home to Aghyaran @ 7pm.
TYRONE U17'S
Congratulations to Conor Ward & Tyrone U17's on winning the inaugural Ulster U17 Championship defeating Cavan in Sundays Final at Breffni Park on a final scoreline of Tyrone 3.14 Cavan 0.6. Well done Conor, you have done the club proud.
TYRONE U14'S
Well done to Odhran Nugent who has been selected on the Tyrone U14 Academy Squad and played in an Ulster blitz at Garvaghy on Saturday last.
MINORS
The minor championship game away to Cookstown is due to take place on Fri. 23rd June.
U14'S
Our U14 Championship game at home to Gaell Naomh Padraig will now be played on Monday 19th June @ 7pm.
U12'S
The U12's were away to Augher on Tuesday last and all the boys played brilliantly as they ran out winners on a final scoreline of Augher 1.5 Rock 8.7. Next fixture is away to Derrylaughan on Monday12th June @ 7.15pm, and then at home to Eskra on Monday 26th June @ 7.15pm. Our annual Liam Heaney & Doyle/Mulholland U12 tournament takes place this Friday 16th June. More details on this later. We have also been invited to play in the Brackaville tournament on Saturday 24th June.
U10'S
Well done to all our U10's who played in the mini games during half time in Saturdays senior game v Dungannon. Many thanks to Dungannon U10's for travelling for the game. The next U10 blitz is due to be on Saturday 17th June.
U8'S/U6'S
Well done to our U8's who all played well at Pomeroy U8 tournament on Saturday last in games against Beragh, Pomeroy and Kildress. Many thanks to Pomeroy for their hospitality. The U8's are playing Donaghmore in a friendly fixture in Pairc Naomh Padraig on Monday 12th June @ 6.30pm. U6 training as normal 6.30-7.30pm. Next U8 blitz is due to be on Saturday 24th June.
SUMMER CAMP
This years Summer Camp will take place in Rock from 31st July to 3rd August. Online bookings can now be made through the Tyrone website or our own club website.
