ACL DIVISION 2

We had Stewartstown as visitors to Pairc Naomh Padraig in the ACL Division 2 on Sunday. Playing against the breeze in the first half Rock struggled to get into the game for the entire first half going in 3-7 to 0-6 down at half time. Half time worked wonders though and Rock controlled most sectors of the field in the second half outscoring their opponents 1-8 to 0-3. Unfortunately we had left ourselves with to much to do and time ran out as Stewartstown held on for a two point victory on a final scoreline of Rock 1-14 Stewartstown 3-10. A speedy recovery is wished to Diarmaid Carroll who had to go off injured during the second half. Next fixture is due to be at home to Aghaloo on Sunday 2nd July, reserves @ 2.15pm and seniors @3.45pm..
