MINORS
The minors opened their league campaign against Naomh Padraig on Saturday last under the management of Patrick Crilly and Ciaran Gourley. Rock played well in the first half and went in leading 0-9 to 0-6 at half time but three goals in the space of five minutes left them chasing the game throughout the second half. Final score: Rock 0-11 Naomh Padraig 3-12. Rock were best served by Conor Barrow in defence, Shea Litter in midfield and Padraig Ward up front. Best wishes to Oran Devlin who suffered an injury during the game. Rock scorers: Padraig Ward(0-7)(5f), Enda Mallon(0-2), Adrian Barrow(0-1), Oran Devlin(0-1). Next game is against Omagh on Saturday 15th March.
U14'S
The U14's had a big win away to Eglish in their opening league fixture winning on a final scoreline of Eglish 2-3 Rock 4-13. Next fixture is against Pomeroy on Saturday 15th March.
QUIZ
St. Patricks Day Quiz in the club mobile on Saturday 15th March commencing at 7pm. £5 per person. Irish stew and live music on the night and there will also be a raffle. All welcome.
GATES
All committee members and trainers/coaches are asked to ensure that the main gate to the club grounds are closed and locked whenever they leave the premises.
