TYRONE U17'S
Congratulations to our own clubman Conor Ward and the entire Tyrone U17 squad on winning the first ever All Ireland U17 title defeating Roscommon in the final @ Croke Park on Sunday on a final scoreline of Tyrone 2-18 Roscommon 0-15. Well done Conor on a great achievement, the club is proud of you.
ACL DIVISION 2
Our final ACL Division 2 game is at home to Castlederg, date & time to be confirmed.
INTERMEDIATE CHAMPIONSHIP
Rock play Aghyaran in the Intermediate Championship first round, venue, date and time to be confirmed.
U16'S
The U16's recorded two good wins last week, defeating Coalisland at home on a scoreline of Rock 9-12 Coalisland 1-2 on Monday and then defeated Derrylaughan away on Thursday on a final scoreline of Derrylaughan 3-7 Rock 6-8. Next game is at home to Errigal Ciaran on Monday 28th August @ 7pm and then away to Clonoe on Thursday 31st August @ 7pm. The remaining fixtures are then away to Eglish on Monday 4th September @ 7.30pm and then at home to cookstown on Thursday 7th September @ 7.30pm.
U12'S
Our U12's played Eskra away on Monday last losing narrowly. They then took part in the Harte Memorial Tournament in Loughmacrory on Saturday last. The boys played games against Errigal Ciaran, Loughmacrory, Killyclogher, Carrickmore and Greencastle. Although the boys didn't win any games, they were a credit to our club and hopefully better days to come for this young team. Thanks to Loughmacrory for the invite and their hospitality. Next tournament is due to be in Emyvale on 16th September. More details later.
U10'S
Next U10 blitz is due to be on Saturday 9th September and again on Saturday 23rd September. Training continues Fridays 6.30-7.30pm.
U8'S/U6'S
We hosted an U8 blitz at Pairc Naomh Padraig on Saturday last. Well done to all our U8 players who all played very well in all the games. Many thanks to all who helped out in any way on the day. Next U8 blitz is due on Saturday 16th September and again on Saturday 30th September. No U8/U6 training this week but training continues next Monday 6.30-7.30pm.
