INTERMEDIATE CHAMPIONSHIP
Rock were defeated by Aghyaran in the first round of the Intermediate Championship at Healy Park on Friday night last on a final score of Rock 0-8 Aghyaran 2-13.
ACL DIVISION 2
Rock will be at home to Castlederg in a relegation play off, date and time to be confirmed.
U16'S
The U16's defeated Eglish away on Monday night last in a very high scoring encounter, final score Eglish 2-15 Rock 1-20, and on Thursday night it finished all square at home to Cookstown, Rock 3-9 Cookstown 3-9. Rock must wait on other results now to see if we face a play off to qualify for the league semi final. In the U16 Championship Rock are due to play Clann na nGael, date to be confirmed.
U12'S
The U12's played Pomeroy in a friendly at home on Thursday night last. The boys played very well but lost out by the minimum margin on a final scoreline of Rock 5-6 Pomeroy 3-13. Thanks to Eugene Mullan who refereed the game and thanks also to Pomeroy for travelling down for the game. The team on the night was: Odhran Carroll; James Nugent, Matthew Devlin Ryan McElduff Aidan Coyle Desmond Gourley; Brannan Daly Corey McElduff; Charlie O'Donnell Padraig Mullan Owen Bloomer Michael Kelly Caomhan Daly Darragh Nugent. Emyvale tournament takes place this Saturday 16th September, more details on this later from management.
U10'S
Our U10's took part in Moy U10 Tournament on Saturday last. The boys all played brilliantly winning group games against Edendork, Dromore and Derrynoose to qualify for the Cup quarter final. Glenullin were our opponents in that and despite another good performance the boys lost out by just three points. Well done to all, the boys and their coaches once again did the club proud. Many thanks to Moy for their hospitality. The U10 squad at Moy was: Desmond Gourley, Michael Kelly,Connor Moore, Charlie O'Donnell, Owen Bloomer, Padraig Mullan, Caomhan Daly, Sean Girvan, Alfie Kerr, Joel Kerr, Cillian Molloy, Odhran Carroll, Ryan McElduff, Darren Moore, Ryan McAweaney, Fionnan McElhatton, Kieran McGurk. Next U10 Blitz is due on Saturday 23rd September. Training continues Fridays 6.30-7.30pm.
U8'S/U6'S
U8/U6 training continues Mondays 6.30-7.30pm. U8/U6 training for the year will finish on Monday 25th September. Next U8 Blitz is due on Saturday 16th September and then again on Saturday 30th September.
