LOTTO

Lotto numbers Monday 5th March: 1, 2, 24, 25. No Jackpot winners and no match 3 winners. This weeks Jackpot is £1750.

ACL DIVISION 3

Rocks opening fixture in this years ACL Division 3 is at home to Fintona on Saturday 31st March. The next two games are away to Brockagh on Sunday 8th April and then at home to Newtownstewart on Sunday 15th April. We played St. Pauls Belfast in a friendly in Pairc Naomh Padraig on Sunday last in what proved to be a very useful runout. Our thanks to St. Pauls for travelling for the game and thanks also to all who helped with food and refreshments after the game.

U21'S

The U21's were defeated in the Grade 2 quarter final on Sunday in Greencastle on a final scoreline of Greencastle 1-12 Rock 0-12.

MINORS

Our minors are due to open their Grade 2 league campaign this Sunday 18th March at home to Cookstown at 12pm. They are then due to travel to Moy on Sunday 25th March @ 11.45am.

U14'S

The U14's were heavily defeated in their opening league game on Saturday at home to Stewartstown on a final scoreline of Rock 1-3 Stewartstown 6-13. They are next due to be away to Killeeshil on Saturday 24th March @ 12pm and then at home to Galbally on Thursday 29th March @ 6.45pm.

U10'S/U8'S

The U10's attended the first blitz of the year at Pomeroy on Saturday and all played very well in games against Donaghmore, Greencastle and Pomeroy with two wins and one draw. The team at Pomeroy was: Caomhan Clerkin, Fionnan McElhatton, Alfie Kerr, Joel Kerr, Owen Bloomer, Kieran McGurk, Thomas O'Hagan, Ryan McElduff, Caolan McCourt. Thanks to Pomeroy for their hospitality. Up coming U10 blitzs are as follows: Sat. March 31st, Sat. April 21st, Sat. May 12th, Sat. May 26th, Sat. June 16th, Sat. June 30th, Sat. July 28th, Sat. Aug. 18th, Sat. Sept. 8th. The first U8 blitz of the year is due on Saturday 24th March. Dates for the other U8 blitzes this year are as follows: Sat. April 14th, Sat. April 28th, Sat. May 19th, Sat. June 9th, Sat. June 23rd, Sat. July 21st, Sat. Aug. 11th, Sat. Aug. 25th, Sat. Sept. 15th.

MEMBERSHIP

Club membership fees are now due and must be paid before 31st March 2018. Fees for the year remain the same, Adult £30, Couple £50, Student £10, U18's £5. Fees can be paid to club secretary Barry Ruddy or at two registration nights, Tuesday 20th March and Sunday 25th March, times to be confirmed.

MCLARNON CUP FINAL

Best of luck to Holy Trinity College Cookstown and especially all the Rock lads, Eoin Gallagher, Conor McGarrity, Caoimhin Conlon, Shane Murphy & Thomas Mackle in the McLarnon Cup final on Monday19th March when they will play St. Eunans College Letterkenny at The Athletic Grounds, Armagh.

DEFIBRILLATOR TRAINING

There was a great turnout for the defibrillator training on Thursday evening in Slatequarry Hall. Thanks to the trainer Padraig Dougan who made it a very enjoyable and worthwhile experience. Congratulations to: Micky Mallon, Martin Conway, Gavin O’Hagan, Ollie McElduff, Martina McGarrity, Catherine McGarrity, Ciara McQuillan, Brenda Moore, Eimear McVeigh, Catherine O’Neill, Rebecca Moran and Laura-Jane Lewis.

SUMMER CAMP

This years Summer Camp in Páirc Naomh Pádraig will run from Monday 30th July until Thursday 2nd August.
