ACL DIVISION 3
Rock were away to Brocagh in the ACL Division 3 on Sunday last and had to settle for a share of the spoils as Brocagh scored an injury time goal to level the tie at 1-9 each with virtually the last kick of the game. Despite going 0-6 to 0-1 behind in the first half Rock battled back into the game to take the lead and a Mark Ward goal in the second half seemed to have set Rock up for a win. But 14 man Brocagh weren't giving up and scored that injury time goal to leave the sides tied at the final whistle on a final scoreline of Brocagh 1-9 Rock 1-9. Rock team & scorers: J McAuley R Litter P Girvan P Ward M McAleer N Mullan T Bloomer E McWilliams(0-1) M Ward(1-0) C Ward(0-1) A Girvan D Carroll L Nugent(0-6) C McWilliams P Ward(0-1). Sub: S Litter. The reserves put in a strong performance to win comfortably on a final scoreline of Brocagh 2-9 Rock 4-15.
