LOTTO

Lotto numbers for Monday 16th April were 10, 18, 24, 28. No Jackpot winner and 2 match three winners winning £50 each , Bridie Girvan(Bardahessiagh) and N Patton (Newtownstewart). Lotto is available to buy online via the klubfunder website.

ACL DIVISION3

Our seniors recorded another fine victory at home to Clann na nGael on Sunday in ACL Division 3. Always in control of the game, a first half goal from Diarmaid Carroll and one in the second from Conor Ward along with some fine point scoring from Liam Nugent helped Rock on their way to a comfortable victory on a final scoreline of Rock 2-15 Clann na nGael 0-8. Rock scorers: Liam Nugent 0-8 Conor Ward 1-1 Diarmaid Carroll 1-0 Aidy McGarrity 0-2 Paudie Ward 0-2 Enda McWilliams 0-1 Martin Corrigan 0-1. The reserves were defeated on a final scoreline of Rock 0-11 Clann na nGael 3-10. Next outing is away to Errigal Ciaran @ Dunmoyle On Saturday 28th April, reserves @ 4.30pm and seniors @ 6pm. Many thanks to the girls who sang Amhrán na bhFiann prior to Sundays senior game, Leah Quinn, Niamh Lagan, Catriona Clerkin, Catherine Kelly, Rachel Bradley, and also who along with Aoife and Aine Quinn collected Lotto during the game....well done girls. Thanks also to all who helped with tea & refreshments after Sundays game.

MINORS

The minors recorded another fine victory at home to Edendork on Tuesday night last winning on a final scoreline of Rock1-9 Edendork1-8. Next outing is on Tuesday 1st April away to Galbally @7.15pm.

U14'S

Our U14's were defeated away to Stewartstown on Saturday last. Their next outing is at home to Edendork on Friday 27th April at 7.15pm.

U12'S

U12 training continues Mondays 7pm-8pm. U12 Tournament in Cookstown on Sunday 6th May. More details on this later.

U10'S

History was made on Saturday @ Páirc Naomh Pádraig as we hosted our first ever U10 Tournament. And what a huge success it proved to be and the brilliant weather helped make it all the more enjoyable.....Pauls Ices went down a treat...another masterstroke from Noel.........Congratulations to our two winners...Galbally who won the 'A' Cup defeating Moy in the final, and Donaghmore who won the 'B' Cup defeating Rock in the final. Both finals proved to be close exciting affairs which went right down to the final whistle. Many thanks to all the participating teams and management...Rock, Galbally, Moy, Donaghmore, Pomeroy, Kildress, Brackaville & Lissan. Thanks to all who helped out in any way on the day.....and especially our Youth officer Ryan Litter and also our four referees....Aidan Corrigan, Aidan McGarrity, Eamonn McGarrity and Conor McGarrity & our photographer Oliver Molloy.....and finally well done to our own lads who lost out so narrowly in the 'B' final. The squad on the day was: Caomhan Clerkin, Fionnan Mc Elhatton, Caolan McCourt, Eoin Bloomer, Ryan McElduff, Joel Kerr, Alfie Kerr, Odhrán Carroll, Ciaran McGurk, Darren Moore, Thomas O'Hagan, Piotr Wolski, Caomhán Daly. Training continues Mondays 6.30pm-7.30pm. Next U10 blitz is on Saturday 12th May.

U8'S/U6'S

Well done to our U8's who played in the mini games during half time in Sundays senior game at Pairc Naomh Padraig. Training continues for U8's/U6's Mondays 6.30pm-7.30pm. Next U8 blitz is on Saturday 28th April in Rock.

SLATEQUARRY CHAPEL DONATION

The gate receipts from Sundays ACL game v Clann na nGael in Páirc Naomh Pádraig were donated by the club to the renovation fund for St. Johns Chapel, Slatequarry. The total sum of £1000 was presented to Mickey McAleer on behalf of Slatequarry Chapel by our club chairman Anthony Mullan. Many thanks to all who donated, and thanks also to members from Clann na nGael club who also donated.

CLUB ROCK & PATRON SCHEMES

As you know we are making our way around our members seeking donations to our Club Rock & Patron schemes. All donations are solely for development and will help build the Rock Area Social Hub. This community facility will have a hugely positive impact on the lives of everyone within our parish now and in the future. We thank everyone who has generously contributed so far and appreciate all donations. We hope to have visited everyone in the next few weeks. All donations will be strictly confidential. TYRONE U17'S

Best of luck to Shane Murphy, Thomas Mackle and Shea Daly and the entire Tyrone U17 squad v Donegal in the Ulster Championship on Saturday in Ballybofey.

TYRONE U16'S

Well done to Shea Daly & Tír Eoghain U16's on reaching the Buncrana Cup final defeating Derry in Saturdays semi final on a final scoreline of Tír Eoghain 6-19 Doire 0-6.

CLUB KIT

Anyone looking to order club kit we will be taking orders in the club on Wednesday 25th April between 6.30pm & 7pm. We have added a new crew neck top to our stock. All orders must be paid in full when placing the order. Last order date will be Wednesday 25th April. Any queries please contact Aislinn Carroll.

GYM

Anyone who is interested in using our gym facilities at the club please send a private message to Karle Farquhar. Anyone who wishes to use the the facilites must b a member of either Rock St Patricks GAC or Rock Ladies GFC and complete an induction. As this is a small space and we plan to have a modern Health & wellbeing suite in the new hub there will be no charge at this time.

SUMMER CAMP
