ACL DIVISION 3
Rock were away to Errigal Ciaran in Dunmoyle on Saturday last in the ACL Division 3. A competitive first half between two evenly matched teams saw Rock lead at the break by just two points, Errigal Ciaran 0-7 Rock 1-6, thanks mainly to a well taken goal from Mark Ward and some heroic defending in particular from Peter Ward an also a couple of fine saves from goalkeeper James McAuley. The second half saw Errigal Ciaran take control and they built up a three point lead entering the final stages of the game. But Rock showed great fighting spirit to bring the game back level with fine points from Liam Nugent and Paudie Ward. Unfortunately Errigal Ciaran had the final say as they scored the winning point in injury time. Final score: Errigal Ciaran 1-12 Rock 1-11.Rock scorers: Liam Nugent 0-6 Aidan Girvan 0-3 Mark Ward 1-0 Paudie Ward 0-2. The reserves were defeated on a final scoreline of Errigal Ciaran 2-12 Rock 1-9. Next fixture is due on Friday 4th May at home to Drumragh, Seniors @ 7.30pm. Reserves at home to Drumragh on Tuesday 8th May @ 7.30pm.
MINORS
The minors are away to Galbally on Monday 30th April @ 7.15pm and then at home to Cookstown on Wednesday 9th May @ 7pm.
U14'S
Our U14's were defeated on at home to Edendork on Friday night last on a final scoreline of Rock 4-2 Edendork 5-7. Next outing is at home to Killeeshil on Saturday 5th May @ 1.30pm.
U12'S
U12 training continues Mondays 7pm-8pm. U12 Tournament in Cookstown on Sunday 6th May. More details on this later.
U10'S/U8'S/U6'S
U10/U8/U6 training continues at the field Mondays 6.30-7.30pm. Next U10 blitz is on Saturday 12th May. Well done to our U8's who played very well at the blitz in Pairc Naomh Padraig on Saturday last in games v Edendork, Killyman and Moortown. U8 squad on Saturday was Shea Conway Rory O'Hagan Lorcan McCourt Callum Hughes Daithi McGurk Caolan Quinn Hayden Martin Finn Daly Daithi Kerr Michael Kirwan Rory McGarrity. TYRONE U17'S
Well done to Tyrone U17's and especially Shane, Thomas & Shea on defeating Donegal 5-12 to 1-10 in Saturdays Ulster U17 Championship quarter final in Ballybofey.

HTC U14'S

Anyone who is interested in using our gym facilities at the club please send a private message to Karle Farquhar. Anyone who wishes to use the the facilites must b a member of either Rock St Patricks GAC or Rock Ladies GFC and complete an induction. As this is a small space and we plan to have a modern Health & wellbeing suite in the new hub there will be no charge at this time.
