U13'S
Our U13's played their opening league game at home to Brocagh on Sunday. The boys put in a great performance running out comfortable winners on a final scoreline of Rock 8-17 Brocagh 0-9. The team was: Aidan Coyle; Faolan Devlin, Ryan McElduff; Conor Moore, Eoin Bloomer; Branan Daly, Michael Kelly; Padraig Mullan, Caolan McCourt; Desmond Gourley, Odhran Carroll. Subs: Joel Kerr, Ciaran McGurk, Fionnan McElhatton, Thomas O'Hagan. Next game is due to be away to Derrylaughan next Saturday 10th November at 11.30am. Training continues on Thursday night 7-8pm.
FRIENDS OF ROCK BIG DRAW
Friends of Rock big draw will take place on Friday 30th November 2018 in the Glenavon Hotel, Cookstown. Just 4 weeks to go! There is £15,000 prize money with a top prize of £10,000. 2nd prize of £3,000. 3rd prize of £1,000. 4 prizes of £500 and 5 prizes of £100. And some lucky people will win this in time for Christmas! All proceeds from the draw will go towards the development of our new community hub. And for the 1st time in our history Rock St Patricks GAC and Rock Ladies GFC will jointly host their player of the year awards. It is sure to be a great night and we look forward to seeing you all there. Further details will be announced in due course. We have tried to call at every house in the Rock and surrounding areas. Ticket prices as follows; 1 ticket £20, 3 tickets £40, Book of 8 tickets £100, 6 books of 8 tickets £500, 15 books of 8 tickets £1000. As the clubs big development draw enters its final month could we please ask for one last push from everyone connected to the club to help the draw finish strongly and maximise its potential. We need volunteers who could give up either a Saturday or Sunday afternoon for the next 4 weeks to sell tickets in areas that are slightly out of reach on week nights. LADIES FINALS
Páirc Naomh Pádraig hosted two ladies U16 finals today. Many thanks to all who helped out in any way & congratulations to the two victorious teams Galbally & Clonoe, commiserations to Drumragh & Edendork.
