Rock had Owen Roes as visitors to Pairc Naomh Padraig on Sunday last and the game ended up a draw on a final scoreline of Rock 1-5 Owen Roes 1-5. A first minute goal from a penalty for Owen Roes left Rock chasing the game thereafter and they went in at half time five points down 1-4 to 0-2. A battling second half performance from Rock should have yielded a better result as several scoreable opportunities were missed including a penalty as Rock had to settle for a share of the spoils. The reserves had a big win in a high scoring game on a final scoreline of Rock 4-16 ER Ui Neill 4-6. Rock scorers: Enda Mallon(3-5), Francie Bloomer(0-5), Brian McAuley(1-2), John Girvan(0-1), Enda McWilliams(0-1), Brian Ward(0-1), Kevin Mallon(0-1).
Rock are due to play Errigal Ciaran III's away on Sunday 11th May, reserves at 2.15pm and seniors at 3.45pm.
U14'S
The U14's were narrowly defeated away to Moy on Tuesday last on a final scoreline of Moy 5-7 Rock 2-15. Next U14 game is at home to Ardboe on Tuesday 6th May at 7pm and then due to be at home to Coalisland on Saturday 10th May at 1pm.
U10'S/U8'S
Next U8 blitz is due to take place on Satorday 10th May and the next U10 blitz is due to take place on Saturday 17th May. Details at training.
SUMMER CAMP
This years Summer Camp will take place in Pairc Naomh Padraig from Monday 28th July until Thursday 31st July. Details on Tyrone website. Any coaches wishing to coach at this years Summer Camps should contact Ciaran Gourley. Coaches must be actively coaching within their own club and must have completed their foundation level course. There will be a training day for Summer Camp coaches at Garvaghey on Monday 2nd June from 7pm-9.30pm.
STRICTLY DANCING
The club are running Strictly Dancing in The Glenavon Hotel Cookstown on Friday 27th June. As part of this a Launch Night will take place in Haydens Bar on Friday 9th May commencing at 8.30pm. All welcome.
