Rock had Fintona as visitors to Pairc Naomh Padraig on Sunday last
and recorded a big win on a final scoreline of Rock 1-16 Fintona 0-6.
Having built up a 0-10 to 0-1 interval lead, Rock coasted to a
comfortable victory in the second half with the only goal of the game
coming from Conor McCreesh. Rock scorers: Conor McCreesh(1-5), Aidan
McGarrity(0-5), Liam Hoy, Diarmaid Carroll, Ciaran Gourley, Tommy
Bloomer, Kevin Mallon, Martin McCreesh(0-1) each.
The reserves also won on a final scoreline of Rock 3-6 Fintona 0-7. Rock goalscorers were James McCreesh and Kevin Mallon(2).
RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIP
Rock are at home to Drumquin in the Reserve Championship this Wednesday 9th July at 7.30pm.
U14'S
Congratulations to our U14's on winning the Grade 2 U 14 Championship title on Thursday night last defeating Newtownstewart in the final at Galbally on a final scoreline of Rock 1-23 Newtownstewart 5-4. The boys produced a great display of skill and scoring power to win the title. This was a excellent team performance and a strong first half playing against the wind paved the way for this impressive victory. Excellent defending, strong midfield play and impressive score taking particularly in the second half resulted in a great win and a fitting conclusion to an excellent season for the team. Shane Murphy scored nine points, Conor McGarrity(1-5) and Thomas Mackle, Shea Daly, Joseph Doyle and Thomas Collins also all weighed in with scores. Team captain Aidan Corrigan was presented with the U14 Grade 2 Championship Shield following the game much to the delight of the Rock supporters.
U12'S
The U12's are at home to Pomeroy on Monday 7th July at 7pm. Next game is then away to Kildress on Tuesday 22nd July at 7pm.
U10'S/U8'S
Upcoming blitzs are U8's on Sat. 19th July and U10's on Sat. 26th July. Details at training.
ROCK N REELS
Apologies for failing to mention in last weeks notes the children from the Hackett School of Dancing who put on a special dancing display during our recent fundraiser Rock n Reels in Galbally Community Centre. The children helped to make the show the success it was, so many thanks to them and to all who took part or helped in any way.
SUMMER CAMP

JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP(BROCAGH V CLANN NA NGAEL)
