U13'S

The U13's are through to the Grade 2 U13 final following a big win in the semi final against Drumragh in Pairc Naomh Padraig on Saturday last. The final score was Rock 5-14 Drumragh 1-3. This was another great performance from the boys and they now face Trillick in the final this Saturday 11th October. Best of luck to the entire team and management of Eamonn, Aidan and Colm and all support welcome to come out and support the boys in the final.

U12'S
The U12's have been invited to take part in the Martin McGeehan U12 memorial tournament in Ballinderry which will now take place on Saturday 18th October. More details later.

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS

The club are hosting a Mental Health Awareness night on Wed. 29th Oct. in the club mobile. The Niamh Louise Foundation will be doing the presentation which is open for all club members to attend. There is no charge but donations to the Niamh Louise Foundation would be most welcome. For more details contact Ciaran Gourley.

HELPING HAND CHARITY

Next September our club secretary Eamonn Cush will be climbing Kilimanjaro in memory of his son Eoin along with a group from Helping Hand ( Charity for the Royal Hospital for Sick Children Belfast) to raise money for the hospital. As part of his fundraising Eamonn has organised a charity fight night ' Royal Rumble Fight Night' in the Glenavon Cookstown on Sat 1st Nov.Tickets are £20 and can be got by contacting him through email eoincush09@hotmail.com or by Facebook. All money raised on the night will go to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children Belfast. There is a selection of fighters all from the local area and Facebook sensation Rory from Rorys Stories will be doing a comedy sketch live on the night.

ULSTER GAA COURSES

Ulster GAA are delivering a GAA For All Disability Inclusion Workshop on Tues. 7th Oct. in Garvaghey 7-9pm. This is open to coaches of all teams. Foundation Football Coaching Courses are in Melvin Sports Complex in Strabane 15-17th Oct. 10am-4pm and in Clonoe GAA 21st Nov. 7-9pm and 22nd Nov. 10am-4pm. JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

Rock and Derrytresk finished all square in the Junior Championship Final at Healy Park on Sunday last following a tense and low scoring encounter which finished 0-9 each.. Probably a fair result on the day as both teams missed late chances to win the game. Date for the replay is yet to be confirmed. Rock team and scorers: Niall Mullan; Mark McAleer, Peter Girvan, Aidan Girvan; Tommy Bloomer, Ryan Crilly, Peter Ward; Ciaran Gourley, Enda McWilliams(0-1); Karl Kolbohm, Cathal McWilliams, Diarmaid Carroll(0-1); Aidan McGarrity(0-2), Conor McCreesh(0-4), Eamonn Ward(0-1). JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

The Junior Championship Final replay will be in Fr. Peter Campbell Park, Coalisland this Sunday 12th October at 4pm.
