LOTTO

Winning numbers for Monday 20th July were 4, 7, 8 & 18. No winners, next weeks jackpot £3750.

SENIORS & RESERVES

On Sunday the Seniors and Reserves were back in league action this week in a big derby game at home to Cookstown. The seniors had a tight game with Cookstown leading by 4 points going into the last few minutes, but thanks to a late goal and point the Rock came away with a draw and another valuable league point. The final score was Rock 1-5 to Cookstown 0-8.

The reserves had a slow start to their first half and although they came into the game more in the second half they where defeated Rock 2-3 to Cookstown 3-12.

2-3 V 3-12

Our next game will be this Sunday away to Loughmacrory, reserves 2.15 & seniors 3.45pm.

COUNTY FOOTBALL

Congratulations to Tyrone in their victory over Tipperary, Tyrone 0-19 Tipperary 0-7. Tyrone now advanced to Round 4b against Sligo. Game on Saturday 1st August.

SUMMER BBQ

This years annual summer BBQ will take place this weekend Starting Friday the 31st July.

FRIDAY

Friday evening starts of with the gaelic for mothers and others tournament at 6pm followed by a BBQ and live music there are no tickets for Friday night just come along and pay at the door £5 per person

SATURDAY

Saturday starts of with a over 35s tournament (3PM) some of our long time servants putting the jersey back on again, any over 35 players wishing to play please contact Eamon Cush or drop us a message here and we will give you all the info needed.

As we progress into the evening we have a very important part of the night FAMILY FORTUNES this classic game show fundraiser will include 6 family's from 6 different parishes competing against each other to be crowned the family fortunes champs. This part of the night is in aid of the helping hand Charity supporting the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, this charity is very close to the rock community and to our club secretary Eamon cush who is raising much needed funds for this group, Eamon will set out on 7th September to climb Kilimanjaro in south Africa in memory of his son Eoin. Good luck to Eamon in his exciting challenge ahead.

Finally after we take into our delicious BBQ we have live entertainment from 5 piece band THE FLYING FIDDLE.

Tickets now on sale, Friday night £5, Saturday night £10. Anyone looking tickets can send us a private message on Facebook or contact a committee member.
